Ceremonial Cacao Powder ~Ecuador~

Our Ceremonial Cacao Powder is made from the coveted Ecuadorian Arriba Nacional bean, also known as cacao Arriba or cacao Nacional. This bean is highly sought after for its fruity and floral flavors, unique to Ecuador. Our powder is free from common allergens, non-GMO, and naturally vegan, making it a delicious and healthy option.

The beans are carefully selected, fermented, and dried to perfection before being lightly roasted, crushed into nibs, the skins are removed and ground into a liquid. The resulting cacao mass is then put in a mechanical press to remove most of the cacao butter. The remaining mass "Cake" is ground into a fine powder as the final process.

Our cacao is rigorously tested and remains pure and unprocessed, with no alkalization or Dutch processing. Cacao Powder is meticulously processed at low temperatures to preserve its quality, taste, and nutritional value. Our farmers use mineral-rich volcanic soil to cultivate fully mature pods, resulting in high-quality, low-cadmium cacao.
